LACK AT : OTAGO SCHOOL <F.A.) DUNEDIN, December 12. The acting-dean of the Dental Faculty (Dr. J. R. Burt) in his annual report to the Otago University Council, emphasised the disadvantage under t which the National Dental School labours from the lack of facilities or finance for research. , Dr. Burt said that such research at present was of a minor nature in the staff s spare time. Unlike the Medical School, no money was available for unofficial research, nor was the school in receipt of a Government g ui j t or . V" s P ur POse. Measures should be taken to see that any endowed research was done at the National School, which, by reason of its proximity to the Medical School, was the right place for such work
