Gangster Cr«mes In Britain.—"Three more cases of gangsterism quickly followed the kidnapping and jewellery theft m London on December 4," says the "Evening News." "An armed gang raided a store and escaped with 100 Christmas turkeys. A kidnapping gang freed a-young woman after finding she did not possess the keys for which she was enticed into a car; and an armed gang on a country road did not succeed in capturing a factory's wages when the intended victims sharply reversed their car away from a road block,"—London, December 6.
