LIBERTY
"THE ENCHANTED COTTAGE" I "The Enchanted Cottage,"' acclaimed in the United States as "one of the most touching and beautiful love stories ever brought to the screen." will commence a season at the Liberty Theatre to-day. Starring Dorothy McGuire, Robert Young, 'and Herbert Marshal, this R.K.0.-Radio film is a new version of a great stage success. Robert Young plays the part of a crippled bomber pilot who, unable to endure the pit: of his family and friends, returns to a lonely cottage in New England. The miracle that romance works in his life through the influence of a village girl shunned for her plainness is touchingly developed Herbert Marshall's role—that of a blind composer—is one of the most exacting in his long screen career. "The Enchanted Cottage" is the first film John C/omwell has directed since his outstanding success with "Since You Went Away." ? e ?°J}s feature is "Having Wonderful Crime," a comedy-mystery-thriller, starring Pat O'Brien, George Murphy, and Carole Landis. .

"THE STORY OF DR. WASSELL" Cecil B. de Mille's screen story "The Story of Dr. Wassell," starting Gary Cooper, will be shown this week >at the Century Theatre. The radio tribute by President Roosevelt hailing Dr. Wassell's exploits, and the Navy Cross awarded him for his heroic feats are facts well known to the American people.
