Gale in Wellington.—A gale during Tuesday night produced gusts of 64 miles an hour in Wellington. Gusts up to 60 miles an hour were recorded between 7.30 and 8.30. this being the heaviest blow in an extraordinary series of northerlies which, with little intermission, have persisted since early in October.—(P.A.)
