XMAS MUST REALLY BE HERE ! FATHER XMAS HAS ARRIVED AT D.1.C.! Last Friday Father Xmas arrived at D.I.C. again, amid all the splendour and excitement of a procession through the town, which was led by nine outriders on well-groomed, sprightly mounts. Before stepping down from his famous old coach, he spoke in verse to the hundreds of children end mothers who were waiting at D.I.C. to welcome him. . Then he made his way to the top floor to Funland, where he is going to live until Xmas Eve. There he will hold court every day between 10. a.m. and noon and 2 and 5 p.m.—on Friday nights between 7 and 9 p.m. And he is looking forward eagerly to having a chat to all his little friends. Father Xmas would like to advise mothers of children of pre-school ages to bring them, in to ree him before the schools close, so that he can have as much time as possible to talk to them.. A photographer is in attendance to take candid pictures of the kiddies with Father Xmas. Now to tell all about ’ Funland. Funland is a playground for children and an entertainment for grown-ups.
