SITTING OF LAND SALES APPEAL COURT
An application by H. E. Radley to acquire a quarter-acre section in Hamilton avenue in addition to one acre and a half already held in the same road, was heard before Mr Justice Finlay in the Land Sales Appeal Court yesterday. The Crown (Mr S. T. Barnett) opposed the appeal on the grounds of aggregation. Mr C, S. Thomas appeared for the appellants, Radley and S. W. Jameson, the vendor.
■ Decision was reserved, the Court to inspect the land and locality. . An appeal by H. H. Cook against the value fixed by the Lands Sales Committee on sections in Clifton Hill extension, Sumner, was also heard. After the evidence was heard, the appellant withdrew, without prejudice, on the advice of the judge, Charles Stanley Mark Harrison (Mr J. A. Kennedy) appealed against, the price fixed for his property at the corner of Andover and Cheltenham streets, Merivale, by the local Land Sales Committee. This appeal was also withdrawn, on his Honour's suggestion, after the evidence had been heard.
