capital Valuation of £46,890 A valuation of £46,890 (capital) and £32,000 (unimproved) on the 491 acres controlled by the Christchurch Domains Board was received at the monthly meeting of the board from the Valuation Department. . The Heathcote County Council wrote that it was under the impression that steps were being taken to adjust the allocation of the 1945-46 levy. It was decided to reply that while the board recognised the council’s grounds in applying for a revision, the board had no authority to vary the term of the warrant and to suggest that the council take steps to have a commission consider a new warrant. The board approved a survey of the polo ground with a view to undertaking a drainage scheme. ... It was decided to repair the bicycle track in South Hagley Park.
