MANAWATU-RANGITIKEI HUNT
PROSPECTS FOR TO-DAY “ The Press " Special Service WELLINGTON, July 20. The weather outlook is favourable for the combined race meeting of the Manawatu and Rangitikei Hunt Clubs at Awapuni to-morrow. The track will be soft, but it is in good winter condition. The only bracket on the card is Last Match and Ngamotu in the Hunt Cup Steeplechase. Betting will be on the single pool system, and the following horses should be well supported:— 11.30 a.m.—Maiden Steeplechase: Tamawhero, Extra, Bravura. 12.10 p.m.—Ladies' Bracelet: Red Chief, First King. Spiro. 12.50 p.m—Hack Hurdles: Ballyneety, Bettsrman, British Mint. 1.30 p.m.—First Flying Handicap: Tribal Night, Arco, St. Nat. 2.10 p.m.—Hunt Cup Steeplechase: New Battle, Lightfair, Baron Bold. 2.50 p.m.—Champion Hack Cup: Hulabaloo, Magnus Lux, Aqua. 3.30 p.m.—President’s Handicap: Derryogue, Reorapa, Poutatau. 4.10 p.m.—Second Flying Handicap: Leybourne, Solver, Royal Duce.
