CANTERBURY CASH CLUB The Canterbury Cash Cycling Club held a 20-mlle road race on Saturday at New Brighton. Result:— K. Parkin (lOmln) 1. L. Kerr (lOmln) 8, L. Arnst (lOmin) 3, J. Blanch (4min) 4. ROAD RACE AT HABEWOOD The Canterbury Amateur Cycling Centre held a 26-mile road race at Harewood on Saturday. The winner, L. Henry, lasted just long enough in the final sprint to beat his co-marker, L. Green, with R. Hall third, W. Marks fourth, R. Reddock fiith. Lock sixth. D. Kerr seventh, and P. Jayett eighth. Fastest time and second fastest time went to the two junior riders. Lock and Kerr Lock’s time was Ihr 6min < l7sec and Kerr’s Ihr 6min 47 l-ssec.
