Whakatane, and Annie and Emily, Timaru. DEPHOFF—On July 8. 1945, at Auckland Public' Hospital, Joseph, formerly of Timaru and Linwood, loved father of Sylvia (Mrs K. Watson, Tuakau). Fred and Joe (Timaru), Hector and Cyril (overseas), and elder brother of F. H. DephofT (Opawa); aged 68 years. MANSELL—On July 9, at Christchurch, Priscilla, dearly loved wife of Alfred Edward Mansell, 117 Colombo street, Beckenham: aged 51 years. RICKERBY—On July 9. 1945, at the Christchurch Hospital, Joseph Richard, beloved husband of Florence Rickerby, and loved father of Bill and Ern; in his 60th year. SMITH—On July 9, 1945, at the Waikatl Hospital. James, beloved husband of Alice Milan Smith. Lelthfieid, and loved father of Rachel; in his 74th year. STUBBS—On Monday, July 9, 1945, at the residence of her daughter. Mrs J. J. Johnston, Rakaia, Vera Ann. widow of the late John Stubbs; in her 82nd year. WEBBr-On July 6, 1945, at Hawarden, Patricia Fay, beloved elder daughter of George and Hannah Webb, Christchurch: aged 23 years. (Suddenly.)
