Interference by the upper growths of plane trees in Moorhouse avenue, which were not pruned last winter, with telephone wires was complained of by the Post and Telegraph Department, making it imperative, the reserves committee reported to the City Council last evening, to carry out hard pruning this year to prevent a recurrence of the trouble. The trees in Rugby street and Fisher street had been pruned, and those in Tennyson street were receiving attention
