The Rev. H. W. Newell, secretary of the National Council of Churches, returned to Christchurch yesterday morning from Australia. Mr W. Hughes, of Christchurch, has been admitted as an Associate Member of the Institution of Electrical Engineers (A.M.1.E.8.). Messrs H. R. Fountain and.F. Rhodes, of Christchurch, have been granted the status Of F.P.A.N.Z. (Ffellow Public Accountant) in the New Zealand Society of Accountants. ,
