DEATH FOLLOWS GUNSHOT WOUND
While duck-shooting at Lakeside on Wednesday. Mr Thomas Arthur Kimber, aged 50, a hotel proprietor, of 131 Gloucester street, received a gunshot wound in the thigh. Admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital at 10.15 p.m, on Wednesday, he died last evening. He had suffered from a weak heart.
