PRISONERS OF WAR NOW IN ENGLAND Private Leith B. Wade, elder son of Mr and Mrs F. V. Wade, who was a prisoner of war for three years in Italy and Germany, is now safe in England. Advice received by - Mrs E. M. Hollis, Merivale, states that her son, Captain D. M. Potts, who was a prisoner of war for three and a half years, is safe in England. Private L. J. Armstrong, who was captured in Crete about four years ago, is now reported safe in England. He is the son of Mrs A, C. Armstrong. Akaroa. Flight Lieutenant Thomas A. Penn, who was' wounded and picked up unconscious when shot down off the coast of Holland in May, 1943, is now back in ESgland, according to advice received by his father, Mr W. Penn, of New Brighton. While a prisoner of war Flight Lieutenant Penn passed a special course in agriculture. Cabled advice has been received by Mrs K. 1. Mcßae that her son. Captain G. A. (Alex) Mcßae, is now in England after being a prisoner, of wat in Germany since he was captured in Greece. Advice that their son, Private J. M. Settle, who. was captured in 1941, has been repatriated to England, has been received by Mr and Mrs.George Bettle. They have also received a cable message that their son. Flight Lieutenant J. Bettle, is returning to >New Zealand on furlough. , "
