LINWOOD METHODIST CHURCH FUNCTION Members of the Llnwood Methodist Church held their annual flower show recently. Prize-winners were;— Captain Torrance’s challenge cup for premier bloom (open to- members of Chrysanthemum Club), D. Worsfold. Captain Torrance’s challenge cup for premier bloom hi children’s section, Frank Walls. Aggregate points:—Flower section (open), D. Worsfold and W. Aldwln (equal): flower section (amateur), W. Aldwin; vegetable and fruit. T. Memory: produce and preserves. Miss M. King; home industries, Mrs J. Gilbert and Miss D. Hoddinott (equal); flowers (young people’s section). Miss C. Tanjplln. Proceeds amounted to £3O.
