OBITUARY

MR H. J. GREENSLADE (P.A.) HAMILTON. April 18. The death has occurred of Mr Henry James Greenslsde, aged r7 B, Liberal member of Parliament for Waikato from 1905 until 1911. ' He was Mayor of Thames before 1900 and was attached to the Thames “Star’ as editor-manager. He wss proprietor of the “Te Aroha Mail,” nd at the time of his death was a director of the “Waikato Times."

Relief for Albania.—A . military agreement was signed in Tirana on April 11 betweien representatives of the Mediterranean Supreme Command and General Enver Hoxha. Com-mander-in-chief of the Albanian Army of Liberation, for the introduction of relief into Albania. The Albanian authorities will distribute relief regardless of creed or political affiliation.
