CHRISTCHURCH CLUB A. A. Holland, one of the Christchurch Golf Club’s most consistent .performers, won the final of the Dobson Cup-on Saturday afternoon at Shirley. Holland, who beat L. A, Watson 5 and 4, controlled the match from the outset, winning the first three holes. He maintained the lead to the ninth hole, and was 3 qp at the turn for home. From then on he held the whip hand, and won two more holes, to win the match 5 and 4. In his semifinal, Holland beat R. T. Plther -4 and 3, and in the other semi-final Watson beat A. B. 8001, 2 up. Results of the Islington Cup mixed foursome bogey were: A. D. Paterson and Mrs Robferts, 2 up; J. H. Mortlock and Mrs E. Watkins, 1 up; A. J. Skjellerup and Mrs Twyford, 2 down; M. H. Godby and Mrs C. J. Ward, 3 down; W. M. McClure and Mrs S. Bowron, 3 down; A. R. Spalding and Mrs D. S. McLean, 3 down; A. B. 800 l and Miss K. Johnston, 4 down; D. A. Rt/SSLEY CLUB The tlhrd qualifying round for the Tosswill Cup was played in conjunction with stroke handicaps by members, of the Russley Golf Club during the week-end. AVONDALE CLUB , A foursome stroke handicap, played in conjunction with the qualifying round for the Avondale Golf Club’s Top Dog Trophy, was won by J. Mitchell and P. S. Kortegast, 87. 17—70. The winners of the Easter Monday mixed foursome were Mr and Mrs S. Taylor with a score of 83, 26—67, A mixed foursome played on Saturday was won by J. Sprosten and Miss J. Mahoney, 89, 25-64. WAIMAIRI BEACH CLUB The first round of the Morris Cup for members of the Waimairl Beach Golf Club resulted: —C. Caldwell, 76, 5—71: W. A. Caldwell, 80, 9—71; P. Smith, 83, 12—71; G. H. Christie. 86, 15-71. A bisque bogey match was won by Miss M. B. Tobin. WAITIKIRI CLUB A Stableford aggregate resulted:—A. R. Blank (scr) and W. Satterthwaite (6), 57 points, 1; D. Aspell (17) and P. Stack (11). 55 points, 2; F. J. Beban (14) and H. Wild (17), 53 points. 3. AVONDALE LADIES’ CLUB In the qualifying round of the J. H.
