Slovak Delegation.—A political and military delegation from the Slovak National Council, which is the central revolutionary body directing the uprising in Slovakia; has arrived in London by air to meet President Benes.—London, October 13. * Greenland Weather Station Captured. —American forces have captured what is believed to be the last of the Germans’ hidden weather stations in Greenland, says the United States War Department. Three officers, nine men, and a considerable quantity of radio and scientific equipment were seized.— Washington, October 13, Arrest of Dr. Schacht.—Dr. Hjalmar Schacht, the former president of the Reichsbank, has been arrested in Germany,' according to his niece, Sigrid Schacht, aged 27, who has been working at the German Embassy in Stockholm. She handed in a German passport in exchange for a Swedish foreigner’s pass.—London. Oct. 13. UNRRA Mission to Czechoslovakia. —UNRRA- is sending a mission to Czechoslovakia to frame detailed relief plans. Czechoslovakia has requested that the mission should be sent as soon as possible. Preliminary talks will be held in Russia— Washington. October 14. Evangelist’s Death.—The coroner’s jury returned a verdict that MrsAimee Semple McPherson died on September 27 from an accidental overdose of sleeping tablets. —San Francisco,. October 13.
