INSTITUTE OF SECRETARIES
The annual meeting of the Canterbury branch of the Australasian Institute of Secretaries was held yesterday. Mr R. G. Compton presided over a large attendance of members. The following officers were elected: chairmanMr T. MacKenzie; vice-chairman, Mir G. R. Burrowes; committee, Messrs G. L. Pomfret-Dodd, L. H. Dear, L. L. Smith, W. A. W. Clarke, and W. A. McAllister; secretary, Mr J. H. Smith; auditors. Messrs H. R. Best and Abbott.
