CHINESE GENERAL EXECUTED
♦ . NEW YORK, Sept. 22. The "Central China News” says that General Chen Wu-nung, the commander of the 93rd Chinese Army, has been executed for failure to carry out his instructions to defend the Chunchsien stronghold. General Chen is reported to have fled at the enemy’s approach.
