A tin containing nine lemons sent by Mrs F. Scott, of 49 Great North road, Grey Lynn, to her ninety-eight-year-old father in Southampton, has reached its destination in good ord.ir after less than two months. The lemons were wrapped individually in greaseproof paper and the tin was soldered. A letter from Mrs Scott’s father stated that he was very thrilled to receive the lemons, seeing that they were so scarce in England.
