FOUR IMMEDIATE AWARDS
PERSONNEL OF AIR FORCE ■ i i— * i GALLANTRY IN SOUTH PACIFIC AREA (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 20. The Governor-General has announced that the King has approved four immediate awards to personnel of the Royal New Zealand Air Force in recognition of gallantry displayed in flying operations against the enemy in the south Pacific area. The recipients are:— Distinguished Service Order Flying Officer Charles Graham Parker. Mother, Mrs O. G. McArthur, of ,<■ Wellington. Distinguished Flying Cross Flight Lieutenant Bruce Sfc John Campbell Thompson, of Auckland. Flying Officer Clive Samuel Whitehouse Yockney, of Auckland. Wife, Mrs J. K. Yockney. Military Medal Flight Sergeant (now Pilot Officer) Murray Scofield Aitchison. Wife, Mrs A, M. Aitchison, Dunedin. MIDDLE EAST AWARDS (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 20.
