LOCAL BILL. , IN THE MATTER of a proposed BUI dr Act Intituled “An Act to amend ‘The Christchurch Hospital Act, 1887.”* PURSUANT to the provisions of. the standing orders bt the House of Representatives relating to local bills, the North Canterbury Hospital Board hereby - gives notice that application will be made to the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled for leave to introduce a Bill Intituled "The Christchurch Hospital Amendment Act, 1944." . The objects of the proposed Bill are. to release from, the restrictive provisions of Section 3 of “The Christchurch Hospital Act, 1887," portion of the land described in the 4th Schedule of the said Act thereby enabling the North Canterbury Hospital Board to make use of the portion so released for the purpose of remodelling the Christchurch Hospital and to vest in the North Canterbury Hospital Board for the purpose of the Christchurch Hospital the dry bed of the creek which originally formed one of. the boundaries of the lands described in the schedules of the Christchurch Hospital Act, 1887. A-copy of the proposed Bill, together with a plan showing the area of land in respect of which the release, is desired anb the dry bed bf the creek have been deposited at the Magistrate’s Court House at Christchurch epd alsp. at the office of the North Canterbury Hospital Board, Riccarton avenue.
