♦_— , KAIAPOI CLUB In the open championship of the Kalapoi Club, the best,scores were:—D. E. Cllmie, 76. 79—155; R. D. Frizzell, 81, 77 158: L. A. Watson. 83. 79—162. The junior championship was won by J. W. Rainey. 88, 88—174; G. Hirst, the runner-up, scoring 90. 86—176. _ The best scores in the Hicks Memorial Cup were: R Fisher (18) 148, A. B. Cottee (8) 149. M.,E. Clemens (16) 149. A senior stroke handicap resulted in a win for A. B. Cottee (8). 71, and in the juniors J. Watson (24) won with a score °*A 74 puttlng competition was won by H. T.awrence.
