TRAILER RUNS OVER FARMER MISHAP AT WILLOWBRIDGE (From Out Own Reporter.) WAIMATE. June 9. Apparently through tripping, Mr Bruce Richardson, a farmer of Willowbridge, fell beneath the wheel of a loaded trailer which passed over his hip putting it out of its socket and fracturing the socket. Mr Richardson, who is about 37. is a married man with a familv. He had assisted in loading 40 bags of potatoes on to the trailer, which was being turned to pull out of his paddock when the accident occurred. He is now progressing as well as can be expected in the Public Hospital. CAR COLLIDES WITH TRAM MOTORIST SUFFERS HEAD INJURIES In a collision between a car he was driving and a tram at the corner of Wordsworth and Queen streets yesterday, Jack Kinlcy. aged 48, of Rangiora. suffered concussion and scalp wounds. He was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital, where his condition was reported as fairly satisfactory. SERIOUS HEAD INJURIES BRANCH FALLS ON FARM HAND Mr Sydney Bishop, a married farm hand, aged 50. of Winchmore, was admitted to the Ashburton Public Hospital on Thursday suffering from head injuries received when a branch fell on him during tree-felling operations. His condition yesterday was reported to be serious. EXPRESS HITS MILK TRUCK (P.A ) DUNEDIN, June 9. The southbound express smashed into' a milk truck which stalled on a level crossing at Stirling at 8.30 last evening. The driver of the truck escaped with a shaking, but Stanley Mason, aged 17, of Balclutha. who was with him, was seriously injured. MAN INJURED BY TROLLEY HORSE BOLTS AT GREENPARK When the horse he was driving in a trolley at Greenpark bolted yesterday afternoon. Leslie J. Brown, aged 26, was thrown to the ground and the trolley passed over him. causing chest injuries with which he was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital last evening. He was also suffering from shock. His condition late in the evening was reported as satisfactory.
