CATCHMENT BOARD PERSONNEL
DEPARTMENTAL MEMBERS SELECTED
Five non-elective departmental members of each of the recently constituted Catchment Boards under the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act have been selected by the Government, and the names are announced in this week’s Gazette. The members appointed to the South Island boards are: North Canterbury.—Mr R. H. Murray, Conservator of Forests, Stale Forest Service, Christchurch; Mr C. S Harris, Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Christchurch; Mr T. W. Preston, Deputy-Commissioner of Crown Lands, Department of Lands and Survey, Christchurch; Mr R. P. Connell, Fields Superintendent, Department of Agriculture, Christchurch; Mr F. D. Grant, Acting-District Engineer, Public Works Department, Christchurch.
