Sir,—lt is interesting to see that the secretary of the Manufacturers’ Federation is protesting against shop assistants having their Saturday mornings free. It ill becomes the federation to intrude on another section of trade and'only encourages discontent. —Yours, etc.. ASSISTANT. April 19, 1944.
