BRITISH CLOTHING COUPONS
NO INCREASE IN NUMBER
(Rec. 11.45 p.m.) LONDON, Jan. 7. Announcing that there will be no Increase iu the number of clothing coupons for the next six months from February 2, the president of the Board of Trade (Dr. Hugh Dalton) said: “Nearly all our wool, cotton, and leather must come from overseas, and as the war moves to a climax in the coming months there will he manv new and urgent calls upon our ships.' 1
