The Rev. H. F. Ault has completed the degree of Bachelor of Divinity (Melbourne), Mr W. C. Hyde, horticulturist of the Department of Agriculture in Wellington, has retired after 19 years' service. The author of many pamphlets on horticulture, Mr Hyde was associated with the former director of horticulture, Mr J. A. Campbell, in work which led to the establishment of the tobacco-grow-ing industry in JNew Zealand, ,
