SCIENTIFIC DAIRY FEEDING (To the Agricultural Editor, "The Press^) Sir,— Through the columns of The Press” I wish to congratulate Mr C. Morgan Williams for bringing before the Board of Directors of Lincoln College the great possibilities that can be made, in the South Island during diy summers and severe w inter periods y the utilisation of concentrated under the "Boutflower” system. I have personally tried this system of feeding under Mr Williams’s direction in a chmate where a foot of snow has lain on the ground during the winter period, and I have achieved phenomenal resuits. The protein value of this type of feeding not only gives a great production during the winter period, but helps the cow to maintain her vitality and productive ability in the following bP l l know full well that great scientific advancement can be made in this type of feeding, especially where production is needed for city or town supply. I hope that Professor Hudson will see his way clear to help to _ make this scientific advancement available to the young, keen dairy farmers of this country when production is so greatly needed.—Yours, etc..
