Mr John Rankine, acting-Colonial Secretary, Fiji, has arrived at Government House, Wellington.—(P.A.) Mr E. F. Willcox. secretary of the Christchurch Returned Services’ Association, will take up his new position as a member of the No. 2 War Pensions Board, Wellington, on January 17. Dr. G. Orchard, who has been on the staff of the Grey Hospital for the last two years, has left for Christchurch to take up military duties. He has been replaced at the hospital by Dr. J. Thompson, of Christchurch. Before his departure from Grcymouth, Dr. Orchard was presented with a set of brushes by the nursing staff.
