[By WHIM WHAM] Mosley, who posed as Fascist He-man, Something between a Playboy and a G-man, Was not improperly supposed to be A Menace to Security, And Nobody complained When he was (as we say to-day) “detained,” / With some few Underlings, And put away, with other childish . Things. T do not doubt That Those who’ve let him out Thought twice, perhaps three Times, before they did; That No-one slid The Bolt back, in an absent-minded Fit, Enabling him to flit. But neither did They think Releasing him from Clink Would lift him to the Headlines everywhere— The Answer to a Fascist’s Prayer! For All the Tricks Sir Oswald used to try, He failed to catch the public Eye. But, right or wrong, we must allow He’s caught it now!
