FOUR AIRMEN KILLED
* AIRCRAFT COLLIDE IN AIR (P.A.) WELLINGTON, November 2. Two aircraft of the R.N.Z.A.F. collided in mid-air yesterday near a South Island Air Force station. Each aircraft contained an instructor and an airman-pilot under training, all of whom lost their lives. The personnel concerned were;— Osborn, Flying Officer Travis Lester. Mr T. L. A. Osborn, of Hamilton (f.). Hulbert, Leading Aircraftman Robert Lindsay. Mrs R. Hulbert. of Christchurch (m.). Stringer, Pilot Officer Ralph Keith. Mr H. G. Stringer, of Motueka (f.). Beattie, Leading Aircraftman Maxwell. Mrs M. Beattie, of Christchurch (w.).
