MODEL YACHTING
Tile Christchurch Model Yacht Club sailed the fifth club race of the season on Saturday at Victoria Lake. Nine boats competed in a jumpy north-easterly wind. Following were the results:— First Heat: R. H. Tindall’s Reveille (hep. 30sec) 1; W. S. Kingston's Kawhai (scr) 2; E. Hodge’s Linnet (4min) 3. R. Reid’s Banshee (2min) 4, W. Evans’s Greta (3min 20sec) 5. Time. 23min 25sec. Second Heat: Banshee 1, M. Spicer’s Defiance (4min 30sec) 2, Reville 3, Kawhai 4, W. Beauchamp’s Avenger (3min lOsec) 5. Time. 28min 35sec. The final result was: Reveille (llpts) 1; Banshee (lOpts) 2. Kawhai (7pts) 3, Defiance (spts) 4.
