LONDON UNDER FIRE
London and London’s people under the Luftwaffe’s air blilz are shown in an exhibition of giant photographs being displayed in D.l.C.’s Lounge for the benefit of the Patriotic Fund. It is a stirring exhibition that should be seen by everyone. The pictures are of such magnificent photography and such life-like size, they almost live, so that the courage and unconquerable spirit of the people are evident and inspiring. Show your appreciation by donating generously to the Patriotic Fund. If you have already seen these pictures, tell your friends about them or better still take your friends along, then go with them to D.l.C.’s Special Victory Afternoon. It’s being held all this week in honour of our latest victory, our good fortune, and safety. A special, delectable afternoon tea will be served. —1
