FATAL FIRE
Second Victim Dies YOUNG GIRL’S CONDITION NOW SATISFACTORY Arthur William Vincent Wilson, who was badly burned in a fire at his residence, 166 Durham street, on Friday evening, and who .was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital, died late on Saturday night. He was 32 years old. Thi§ is the second death in this fire, a boy, Neil William Wilson, a son Arthur W. V. Wilson, having been found dead in the burning building. Therese Wilson, aged five years, who was admitted to hospital suffering from burns, is making satisfactory progress, and her condition is not regarded as serious. The Christchurch Fire Brigade officials and the police have continued inquiries, but have not ascertained the cause of the fire. Mr E. C. Levvey, S.M., sitting as Coroner, opened an inquest on Saturday on Neil William Wilson, and another yesterday on Arthur William Vincent Wilson. After evidence of identification, had been given by Edward Wilson, the inquests were adjourned sine die.
