North Beach Residents’ Club.—The social committee of the North Beach Residents’ Club have for the last 12 months held weekly dances for the entertainment of men of the armed services. To celebrate the end of the year’s activities, a military ball was held recently in the Memorial Hall. Mr L. R. Moore was master of ceremonies, and supper arrangements were in the hands of Mesdames R. Kennedy, R. Parker, L. R. Moore, and F. E. Sibley, and Miss I. Leaver.
