A RECENT PROMOTION.—Squadron Leader Alan Murray Hobbs, D.F.C., eldest son of Mr and Mrs A. E. Hobbs, 50 Idris road, Fendalton, who has recently been promoted to his present rank. He is a flight commander in a squadron of Lancaster bombers “somewhere in England” and has taken part in the recent raids over Duisburg.
