MESSAGE FROM THE KING
* REPLY TO BIRTHDAY GREETINGS (P.A.) WELLINGTON, June 8. The Governor-General (Sir Cyril Newall) has received the following telegram from the King in reply to a message sent to His Majesty;— "Please convey to the Government and people of New Zealand, pakeha and Maori, my sincere thanks for their kind and loyal birthday message.”
