Sergeant Graham Martin, who was killed on active service with the R.N.Z.A.F., was educated at the Christchurch Boys’ High School and on leaving school was employed by the New Zealand Railways. He joined the Air Force in 1939 and was made a wireless instructor. He was twice sent to Canada as an instructor to wireless personnel during the voyage. Sergeant Martin was an enthusiastic member of the Union Rowing Club and the Bromley Football Club. The Rev. Bernard M. Wilson has been appointed to take charge of an evangelical campaign at the Oxford Terrace Baptist Church. Christchurcn. He has conducted missions in England, Australia, and New Zealand, and has been associated with campaign work in Sydney. Mr E. Smellic. apitiry instructor, Christchurch, is visiting Greylhouth.
