OBITUARY
MR E. L. THOMSON (P.A.) WAIROA, May 13 ; The death has. occurred of Mr Elliot Leslie Thomson, aged 65, who was manager at Wairoa for Williams and Kettle, Ltd., for 28 years, later taking over the Wairoa managership of the Hawke’s Bay Farmers, a position which he occupied up to the time of hi* death. He was chairman of directors of the “Wairoa Star,” Worshipful' Master and trustee of the Lodge Wai* karemoana, and also filled a number of other positions on local business v and - sporting organisations. He was a South African War veteran. " :
