MURDER TRIAL
COUNSEL TO ADDRESS. JURY TO-DAY (P.A.) WELLINGTON, May 12. Evidence is not to be called in the defence of John Sidney Crawford, a seaman, aged 26, whose trial for the murder of two United States marines at 17 Terrace Gardens, early in the morning of January 7, was continued in the Supreme Court to-day. This was intimated by his senior counsel, Mr W. J. Stacey, when the case for the prosecution closed latPthis afternoon. Counsel will address the jury tomorrow morning, and his Honour will sum up, and the trial is expected to end to-morrow.
