APPEAL LODGED
DISQUALIFICATION OF TRAINER T. H. Gunning, who was disqualified on April 26 by the New Zealand Trotting Association for five years for alleged corrupt practices in the running of the horse Premier Royal, owned by B. C. Lee, has appealed to the New Zealand Trotting Conference against the decision of the association. An appointment of an appeal board and the date of hearing have not been decided on.
