MAJOR COUNTS NOT SUSTAINED
CHARGES ARISING FftOM SHOOTING AFFRAY (P.A.) AUCKLAND, May 8. The jury returned a verdict of guilty of intimidation in the trial Of Koni Thompson, Who was charged with attempted murder, and on tHNe related counts, arising Out of a shooting affray at a house near Russell on March 14. The foreman, in announcing the verdict, said that the jury was of the opinion that Thompson acted under extreme provocation, and had fOUfld him not guilty on the major Counts of attempted murder and intent to disable. The prisoner was remanded for gCfltence. _
