NEW ZEALAND LAW
APPLICATION TO U.S. FORCES DEFINED (PA) WELLINGTON, April 9. The United States Forces Emergency Regulations, which were published to-night, set oiit the law applicable to United States forces in New Zealand, the jurisdiction of New Zealand Courts where Americans are concerned, and provisions for the handing over of offenders to the United States authorities and for the giving of evidence by New Zealand soldiers before service courts of the United States. Provision is also made for the detentloft or imprisonment of Americans within New Zealand at the request of the officer commanding the United States forces.
