SEASON OPENED ON SATURDAY The harrier season was opened on Saturday. The afternoon was fine and running conditions were good. Members of the Christchurch Club were guests of Mr and Mrs J. L. Young, Flesher avenue, Richmond. A trail of five miles was laid through the Richmond and Avonside districts. Results:—Fast pack: M. R. Craighead 1, M. Busby 2, H. Novis 3. Intermediate pack; S. - C. Maynard 1, F. H. Cookson 2, F. Palmer 3. Slow pack: A. Dockery 1, R. Basher 2, G Kctt p. ROVER SCOUT CLUB Members of the Rover Sccut Club ran from the residence of Mrs C. Ede, Westenra street, Avonside, over a trail laid through the Avonside and Wainoni districts by J. Ede. Results;— Fast pack: B. Evans 1, G. Mumford 2, A. Sutherland 3. Medium pack; M. Cardwell 1, Halligan 2, O. E. Clark 3. Slow pack; G. Rowse I. Clarkson 2, G, Wooles 3. BAPTIST COMBINED CLUB The Baplist-Methodist-Angiican combined Harrier Club held its opening run on Saturday afternoon with a team; - race with Army and A.S.C. teams. The run was from the residence .of Mr and F- C. Mair, 10a Selwyn street. Somuif over a trail of five miles and a half through the Somerficld and Cashmere districts. The trail laid bv J.
