Schools to Reopen Next Tuesday All public primary schools in the Canterbury education district will reopen next Tuesday, February 2, for the first term, which ends on May 7. The second term begins on May 24 and ends on August ?0, and the third term begins on September 6 and ends on December 17. District high schools and manual training centres under the Canterbury Education Board will also resume classes next Tuesday.
