MODEL YACHTING
The Christchurch Model Yacht Club sailed the first two of a four-heats race on Saturday at Victoria Lake for special prizes. Twelve boats sailed In a light north-east breeze. The final heats will be sailed next Saturday. Results were:—First heat: R. H. Tindall’s Reveille (scr) 1, C. Parker’s Amy (3min) 2, W. Beauchamp's Avenger (50sec) 3, R. Reid’s Banshee (lOsec) 4, E. Hodge’s Linnet (Imin 40sec) 5. Time, 41min 40sec. Second heat: Banshee 1, Amy 2, D. Johnson’s Alert (2min 30sec) 3, Avenger 4, Linnet 5. Time, 36mln 40sec.
