COMPETITIONS RESUMED After a break during the Christmas holidays, senior competitions were continued on Saturday afternoon at Wilding Park under excellent conditions. : Several teams either failed to arrive or were not fully represented. In the A section of the mens competition. Training Depot beat Fortress by default and in the B section A.S.C. (B) oeat C.Y.C. tB) by default. In the women s section. Air Force defaulted to North Linwood. SENIOR A . Air Force v. E.F.S.
Singles.—Field lost to Silvester, 2-6. 1-6: Agar lost to McFarlane, 1-6, 1-6; Webster and Scott (Air Force) won by default. Doubles.—Webster and Scott beat oil vester and McFarlane. 4-6, 6-1, 6-4; Field and Agar won by default.

Singles.—K. Lane lost to A. R. Cant. 1-8 3-6; A. Elsom lost to T. Cartwright, 6-4, 5-7, 8-10; N. Taylor lost to B. Winchester, 5-7, 3-6; N. Taylor beat T. Winskill, 6-0, 6-0. ' _ .
