EGG PRICES
Sir,—This morning’s paper states that producers may deliver eggs to the depot and receive Is 6id a dozen. No mention is made of any commission being deducted. For months the grocer has taken our eggs—ungraded—and paid Is 3d a dozen. A number of backyarders in this district would be glad of an explanation.—Yours, etc., BANTAM. November 20, 1942.
